What a Woman Wants

The things she wants are simple
Not grand or specialized
To tell her without looking
The color of her eyes

To know when it's her birthday
The month and day it falls
To share life with her lover
Neither building walls

The things she wants don't cost much
Nary even a dime
A moonlit walk along the beach
Conversation, spending time

Holding hands and kissing
Setting a romantic mood
To know her likes and dislikes
Her favorite flower, color, food

She wants to know she looks nice
And is missed when she is gone
Compliment her cooking
When the meal is done

Trust her as you do yourself
Cherish without end
Appreciate the love she gives
She is your very best friend.
