When We No Longer

When i have lived and loved like this

when i no longer can

when i must leave this mortal life

when i, a mortal man...

No longer walk amongst you dear

when i no longer bear

the torch that burned so deep within

our hearts when i was there....

i shall not walk in darkness, i

shall not give up this fight

for i, with all our memories

forever walk in light....

You will find me waiting, and

that light shall be your guide

when you complete your mortal tasks

and reach the other side....

When we have lived and loved like this

and loved, as not before

we’ll savor immortality

and love forevermore…
