I wish for him the sweetest dreams

for all he means to me

I'd love to hold him close right now

for all the world to see

To kiss him under the streetlight lamp

His lips once more to feel

Tho my dreams of him are sweet

His kiss to me is real

feel his love with me tonight

The way he held me

and spoke my name

He loved me so passionately

but it will never be the same

Those things are gone

they are but a memory

some are so sweet....

they bring a smile

but there's an ache in

the heart all the while....

Yet such pleasure... I never knew...

some bringing tears

But I remember the way

he comforted me and

calmed my fears

Death took him away

it is no small wonder

I still think of him today

Without a goodbye

I have laid him to rest

But the memory of his love

Will always be with me

forever locked within my breast

i dreamt i was horizons

i dreamt i was the dawn

i dreamt i was the sunset

and dreamt i wasn’t gone....

i dreamt i was a moonbeam

i dreamt i was the sea

i dreamt i was a sunrise

and dreamt of you and me...

Lying there beside you

watching as you lay

dreaming of tomorrows

that ended yesterdays....

You dreamt you saw me dawning

horizons by the sea

you dreamt a pair of footprints,

in the sand, were you and me....

You dreamt of our tomorrows

dreamt of yesterdays

that while you dreamt, i hadn’t passed,

and, never went away..…
