Dawn's First Light

I want to feel you here
laying close beside me....
As dawn's first light appears
To feel the warmth of your embrace
your gentle kiss,
a sweet morning greeting
upon my lips now comes
as darkness soon
will be fleeting
May I never miss
such a love as this
As morning now draws near
It is your sweet voice I hear
with the coming of
dawn's first light.

Her's

He touched her heart with every word
his verse, her heartbeat, softly heard
echoes, haunts and longing still
to know his love, yet unfulfilled.

To hold him to her breast once more
to dream the dream, forevermore
lovers lost to raging seas
restless spirits, unappeased.

They pass each other time to time
heartbeats thunder, hers and mine
he her knight and she became
his cause to live and love again.

She'll read his verse and wonder still
for whom he writes, for whom he quills
his rendered verse, impassioned words
he pens will always, be for her.....
